Responsibilities
Work directly with experienced platform engineering mentors while finding solutions to real world problems
Implement new Kubernetes networking capabilities while embedded in one of our DevX teams
Interact directly with our company leaders
Build a lasting professional network through social events and engaging activities
Gain the skills and knowledge to become a future leader in the medical technology industry
Work directly with talented individuals of all levels
With guidance from a departmental leader, you will work on exposing EKS networking features announced at AWS re:Invent 2025 to seamlessly integrate into our platform
These could include container network observability, enhanced network policies, or others
Qualification
Required
Ability to work full-time for 12 weeks during Summer 2025; program dates are May 18th – August 7th, 2026, OR June 15th – September 4th, 2026
Computer Science or Engineering academic studies that will lead to a Bachelor's or Master's Degree (Networking, Security or any related field)
Experience with basic networking, understanding of IPv4 and related concepts, and knowledge of cloud networking
Preferred
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Strong experiences as demonstrated through projects, research or cloud and networking internships
Great interpersonal relations, team cooperation and communication skills
Exceptional organizational and collaboration skills as demonstrated through leadership positions on teams and/or in student or civic organizations
Exceptional communication skills and interest and enthusiasm related to medical technology industry and a career with Resmed
