Summer Intern
Grafton Integrated Health Network is dedicated to helping individuals with complex needs live their best lives. As a Summer Intern, you will provide compassionate, evidence-based support to children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities while gaining hands-on experience and mentorship in behavioral health practices.

Responsibilities
Support implementation of individualized treatment, behavior, or support plans under supervision
Observe and assist clinicians, educators, and behavior specialists in direct service delivery
Provide structured support in classroom, clinic, residential, or community settings
Assist with data collection, progress tracking, and documentation as directed
Participate in therapeutic, educational, or skill-building activities with individuals served
Help maintain a safe, supportive, and trauma-informed environment
Attend required training sessions, supervision meetings, and team briefings
Communicate observations or concerns to supervisors using organizational protocols
Work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team (BCBAs, Teachers, OTs, SLPs, Nurses, Social workers)
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university program in psychology, applied behavior analysis, social work, special education, nursing, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, counseling, or related behavioral/health sciences
Interest in serving individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities
Ability to meet all required background checks, clearances, and health requirements
Ability to adhere to scheduling requirements
Preferred
Experience working in behavioral health, human services, education, or caregiving
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate in diverse, multidisciplinary teams
Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and adaptability
