Responsibilities
Candidate will be responsible for applying sound test engineering, mechanical engineering & design principles in the development of a HWIL system containing machined, structural, sheet metal, & “commercial off the shelf” component parts
Candidate will be responsible for bill of material development, system documentation and verification and component specification for mechanical assemblies
Candidate must be able to apply sound mechanical test engineering processes, such as drawing production, configuration management, and integration and development of complex mechanical systems
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
Candidate must have a minimum of 2+ years of combined experience in mechanical component / Hardware in the Loop testing
Proficiency in finite element analysis (SolidWorks, FEMAP, Nastran, COMSOL), Machine Learning
Demonstrated experience in Test Procedure Development, Performance and Updates
Performance of System Testing Level Testing
CAD based software such as SolidWorks
Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplined team; able to perform complex tasks applying engineering first principles
Must have strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Lead testing operations, reviews, run analysis, and define hardware test plans
US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain a TS clearance
