The 5-Axis CNC Milling Specialist will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC milling machines, ensuring high-quality production of aerospace components, and collaborating with team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

Safely set up and operate vertical and horizontal machining centers (3/4/5-axis)
Execute manual deburring as required
Follow the PRD; perform in-process and final inspections and record results legibly
Complete reports and production documentation accurately
Collaborate with leadership, operators, and quality to resolve machining and quality issues
Adhere to QMS procedures, work instructions, and forms
Protect company, customer, and supplier assets
Perform daily equipment care and maintain a clean, organized work area

Qualification

CNC MillingBlueprint ReadingInspection CompetenceCAM SoftwareMachine SetupsMechanical AptitudeBasic Math SkillsEnglish Fluency

Required

1–3 years of experience with vertical/horizontal CNC milling
High school diploma or GED
Ability to read blueprints and use micrometers, calipers, and height gauges
Comfort with drilling, milling, and tapping operations
Inspection competence and basic math skills
Mechanical aptitude with technical capacity
Fluent in written and spoken English
