Responsibilities

Provide first-line support for hardware, software, network, and access issues through the ticketing system
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices
Assist users with Microsoft 365 applications, email, Teams, OneDrive, and basic Azure account access
Support onboarding and offboarding activities, including account creation, permissions, and equipment setup
Troubleshoot connectivity issues related to network, WiFi, VPN, docking stations, and Cisco phones
Assist with Webex setup and basic troubleshooting for meetings and training sessions
Perform basic system checks on Windows and Linux environments under supervision
Support backup verification and basic monitoring of Synology storage systems
Escalate complex issues to System Engineers or senior IT staff with proper documentation
Maintain accurate ticket notes, asset records, and technical documentation
Apply patches, updates, and antivirus/security tools as directed
Follow IT policies, cybersecurity practices, and HIPAA compliance requirements
Provide courteous, timely, and professional customer service to all staff

Required

Associate degree or technical certification in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience
1–2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or technical assistance roles (internship experience acceptable)
Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and computer hardware
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications and user account support
Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP address, DNS, WiFi, VPN)
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to follow procedures and document work accurately
Strong communication and customer service skills
Willingness to learn enterprise systems and healthcare IT environments
