The Program Director will blend artistic vision with audience engagement to shape the station’s on-air sound by curating music and developing, scheduling, and producing high-quality jazz content.

Responsibilities
Blend artistic vision with audience engagement to shape the station’s on-air sound
Curate music and develop, schedule, and produce high-quality and engaging jazz content
Build and strengthen strategic partnerships by raising station awareness through interactions with local jazz communities
Qualification
Required
Expertise in jazz history, styles, and artists
Administrative experience managing staff and budgets
A clearly understood speaking voice that exhibits a credible presence
A crisp and clear broadcast writing style
Preferred
The ability to connect with and maintain relationships with diverse communities
A bachelor's degree in music or broadcasting, or a related field
Seven to ten years of on-air production experience with demonstrated competence in console operations handling both locally originated and network-fed materials
Equivalent experience in related fields and education will be considered
