Senior DevOps Engineer
SoTalent is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer who is passionate about transforming complex datasets into meaningful insights and scalable data products. In this role, you will collaborate with various teams to uncover insights that guide strategies across marketing, product, and consumer intelligence while developing production-ready data-science solutions.
Responsibilities
Dive into large-scale structured and unstructured datasets to uncover insights that guide marketing, brand, and product strategy
Collaborate with marketing, media, and insights teams to identify growth opportunities, define success metrics, and translate business questions into data problems
Develop modular, production-ready data‑science solutions—such as predictive models, recommendation systems, and automation frameworks—and work with engineering to deploy them as scalable data products
Design and evaluate experiments and causal models to measure marketing impact and improve consumer engagement
Explore emerging techniques in machine learning, econometrics, and data engineering to improve analytical rigor and drive innovation
Present analytical findings to senior stakeholders by translating technical results into clear, actionable business recommendations
Qualification
Required
Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and distributed data systems (Spark, Databricks, Snowflake, Hadoop, etc.)
Experience working with multi‑source datasets such as CRM, media, behavioral, panel, and clickstream data
Deep knowledge of machine‑learning methods: regression, classification, clustering, NLP, recommendation modeling, and anomaly detection
Advanced statistical skills, including Bayesian modeling, causal inference, mixed‑effects regression, and experimental design
Ability to turn complex insights into compelling strategic narratives
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with non‑technical business leaders
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science) with 8+ years building data‑science solutions in areas such as marketing, finance, sales, consumer insights, or supply chain
Preferred
Master's degree with 5+ years experience or PhD with 2+ years experience in Applied Econometrics, Statistics, Machine Learning, Operations Research, or a related field
Experience developing marketing analytics solutions such as marketing mix models (MMMs), segmentation frameworks, or personalization systems
