Technology Intern (Temporary, Full-Time)
KIPP New Jersey is part of the nationally recognized 'Knowledge Is Power Program' network of public schools dedicated to preparing students for success. They are seeking a Technology Intern to assist in preparing learning spaces by checking equipment, setting up devices, and performing help desk functions.
Primary/Secondary Education
Responsibilities
Check student laptops for damage and enrollment states
Rewire audio-visual cabling in classrooms or wiring in Chromebook carts
Set up and configure printers and copiers
Assist in the setup of new staff accounts and devices
Inventory and audit all technology equipment
Perform help desk functions
Qualification
Required
Basic networking knowledge: TCP/IP, Wireless
Troubleshooting hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, Chromebooks, and tablets
Installing and configuring Windows 10
Understanding of Google Forms and Sheets
Meticulous analytical and organizational skills
Proven ability to multi-task and work independently
Ability to lift up to 25lbs worth of equipment
Travel between different school locations in Camden, NJ
Any related STEM fields
Engineering Degrees
