Responsibilities

Model Development: Design, develop, and implement predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and statistical analyses to solve complex business problems and extract actionable insights. Think product engagement, card decline, potential to spend, etc
Data Analysis: Analyze high volume, complex transaction activity to assess patterns and trends for card declines and correlate with other customer outcomes
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Communicate findings, trade-offs, and limitations clearly with internal and external stakeholders (tech and non-tech) at various levels
Innovation: Stay updated with the latest developments in data science and machine learning, and apply them to improve existing processes and methodologies. Deploy AI tools that enhance customer insights and engagement, and contribute to improving data confidence and automation in analytics workflows
Opportunity Identification: Enrich our evolving data stack via contributing to data features/models via AWS Sagemaker/Databrick or other means

Qualification

Required

Master's in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a data science role, with a track record of delivering high-impact projects into production
Strong background in statistical analysis, machine learning techniques, and programming languages such as Python or R in a cloud-based environment
Ability to analyze complex business problems and develop data-driven solutions that actually influence the end-user's workflow
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Experience working in cross-functional teams and partnering with other departments to drive business outcomes
