Responsibilities
Design and implement payment platform integration (Stripe or similar) to support Onsera's billing and subscription workflows
Build and maintain API integrations with pharmaceutical dispensing partners, ensuring reliable medication fulfillment for patients
Partner with external vendors to co-develop integration capabilities, providing technical guidance and accurate delivery estimates
Collaborate with product and design teams to translate user requirements into robust backend architectures
Deliver features iteratively in an agile environment with regular sprint cycles and cross-functional feedback
Own end-to-end delivery of backend systems from design through production deployment and ongoing maintenance
Proactively identify technical risks, integration gaps, and opportunities to improve system reliability
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience building production backend systems with modern frameworks (Python, Node.js, Go, or similar)
Track record implementing payment platform integrations (Stripe, Braintree, or similar) in production environments
Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs for third-party integrations, including partner systems with varying levels of technical maturity
Proven ability to collaborate with external partners and vendors on technical roadmaps and integration requirements
Strong understanding of cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and production deployment practices
Experience working in agile development environments with iterative delivery and cross-functional teams
Demonstrated ownership mindset with proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges
Preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical collaboration with both internal teams and external partners
Experience with healthcare technology integrations, pharmacy systems, or regulated industry software development
Background working with specialty pharmacy networks, medication dispensing workflows, or healthcare supply chain systems
Familiarity with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR) or EDI transactions
Experience estimating scope and delivery complexity for cross-organizational technical initiatives
Understanding of PCI compliance requirements for payment processing
