Responsibilities

Supporting the development of automated test equipment and manufacturing test planning
Preparing test procedures from engineering and conducting detailed failure analysis
Evaluating electrical test results and developing root cause and corrective/preventative actions
Utilizing statistical data analysis for trend analysis and performing test anomaly troubleshooting and fault resolution
Interpreting engineering data and supporting electro‑mechanical integration

Required

Degree from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related technical discipline at the Bachelor level or above and 1+ years professional experience; Or 6 years of related professional experience
Working knowledge / experience of electronic testing methods in a manufacturing environment
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications and schematics
Must be willing and able to work the Weekend Shift - Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance
Candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (“ATF”) background check to obtain approval to be an “employee possessor” (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items)

Preferred

Knowledge / experience with electronic circuit design
Knowledge / experience with automated test equipment & software design
Knowledge / experience with evaluating electrical test results
Knowledge / experience with conducting detailed failure analysis
Knowledge / experience with developing and implementing root cause and corrective / preventative actions
Knowledge / experience with utilizing statistical data analysis for trend analysis
Knowledge / experience with Thermal and Vibration testing and equipment
Previous experience with programming languages C, C++, C#, Visual C or Visual Basic
Previous experience with National Instrument -Windows CVI, Test-Stand and NI -View software
Strong hands-on assembly / disassembly / troubleshooting skills of mechanical, electrical, industrial and/or home equipment and products
Familiarity with manufacturing software DELMIA Apriso Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
Familiarity with Systems Applications & Products (SAP) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools in a manufacturing environment
