Responsibilities
Lead electrical system design for commercial, institutional, healthcare, biotech, and higher education projects
Develop electrical drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical documentation
Participate in client meetings, site surveys, and project coordination sessions
Work closely with project managers and cross functional engineering teams
Mentor and support designers and drafters
Ensure compliance with building codes, energy codes, and NFPA standards
Support quality assurance and quality control reviews throughout project delivery
Monitor scope, schedule, and budget alignment with project leadership
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
Minimum of 10 years of electrical design experience within building systems
Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD
Strong working knowledge of applicable building codes, energy codes, and NFPA standards
Strong written and verbal communication skills for internal teams and client interaction
Preferred
Experience in engineering consulting or construction environments strongly preferred
Professional Engineer license preferred but not required
