Responsibilities

Provides professional leadership, oversight, and management of the clinical, programmatic, scholarly, and educational activates of the CCS IVP program to accomplish the strategic goals and objectives of the organization, CCS department, and the community
Serves as a clinical expert in intentional and unintentional injury in children; acting as a resource to staff, volunteers, and the community related to intentional and unintentional injury in children
Develops, implements, and coordinates evidence-based programing for intentional and unintentional injury in children to assure its quality and effectiveness both in the hospital and in the community

Required

Bachelor's Degree required and 3-5 years experience
Licensed RN - MO, Registered Nurse Multistate License Missouri required upon hire
Licensed RN - Kansas, Registered Nurse Multistate License Kansas required upon hire
RN Compact license for all states besides KS and MO
Refer to Nursing and Advanced Practice Provide Licensure and Certification policy for required Life Support Certifications Required Upon Hire

Preferred

Master's Degree preferred
Master's Degree and 3-5 years of Safety or injury prevention experience would be acceptable in lieu of an RN degree
Specialty Certification relevant to unit's patient population (determined by Nurse Manager/Director) Preferred Upon Hire
Previous Grant administration experience highly preferred
Previous Public Health experience highly preferred
