Responsibilities
Provide customer service to client personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial location
Operate the dispatch post by monitoring radios, telephones, alarm systems, and/or video surveillance, and coordinating response actions with on-site personnel and local resources as directed
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, gathering key details, communicating updates, and documenting actions taken
Maintain accurate security-related logs and reports, including incident details, key control records, access activity, and shift pass-down information
Support site operations by assisting with access control tasks such as verifying identification, issuing temporary badges, tracking deliveries and/or contractors, and directing visitors to appropriate check-in areas
Qualification
Required
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Alarm panel experience is preferred
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
CPR certification is preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
