Responsibilities

Support design and construction of Weapons System Infrastructure & Capabilities (WSIC) projects
Develop and review facility engineering design packages, including drawings and sketches, technical specifications, and cost estimates
Evaluate facility project designs for compliance with engineering principles and best practices, company standards and policies, customer contract requirements, and relevant specifications and regulations
Review and interpret construction plans and specifications during construction to ensure alignment with design intent
Conduct regular site visits to verify that constructed facilities meet design specifications and company requirements
Identify and report any construction deviations or deficiencies to the project team
Ensure corrective actions are taken

Required

Minimum 3 years of experience as an Engineer or equivalent
Knowledge of construction codes, regulations and industry standards
Ability to read and interpret facility design drawings and specifications
Ability to work on multiple projects in parallel
Proficient in Microsoft products
Willingness to travel
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance (U.S. citizenship required)

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (civil, structural, mechanical or electrical)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Professional certification in architecture, engineering, or a related field (e.g. LEED AP, PE)
Experience with creating cost estimates for facility projects
Experience in Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit
Familiarity with the military construction (MILCON) process
Experience with construction inspection and oversight, contract administration, and field surveying
Experience with creating and reviewing A&E design drawings
Experience with creating Statements of Work
Strong written and verbal communication skills for briefings and stakeholder coordination
