Responsibilities
Architect and build scalable data ingestion pipelines from:
BlueConic, Ongage, Swoogo, NetSuite, HubSpot
REST/GraphQL APIs, relational databases, cloud storage, and webhooks
Use Rivery and native cloud tools to orchestrate ingestion workflows
Manage schema drift, versioning, and metadata tracking through dynamic connectors and reusable frameworks
Design, build, and maintain modular, scalable data models in DBT, with clearly defined staging, core, and presentation layers
Apply Medallion Architecture principles and dimensional modeling (star schema) best practices to support consumption by analytics and BI tools
Implement model performance tuning, incremental loads, and reusability strategies
Design and implement robust ELT pipelines in Snowflake using DBT, SQL, Python, API based and Rivery, adhering to modular modeling standards (staging → core → presentation)
Utilize AWS and Azure where required to complement or extend Snowflake workloads
Apply cost-optimization and performance tuning strategies across multi-cloud environments
Build real-time or micro-batch pipelines using cloud-native triggers, webhooks, or streaming services (e.g., AWS Kinesis, Azure Event Hubs)
Design and deploy reverse ETL pipelines to activate Snowflake data into operational tools like HubSpot, NetSuite, and marketing platforms Rivery reverse sync
Support near real-time use cases such as lead scoring, campaign triggers, and event personalization
Define and enforce data contracts between producers and consumers, including schema definitions, freshness SLAs, and validation logic
Implement automated data testing (e.g., DBT tests) and observability tooling across pipelines
Ensure data consistency, completeness, accuracy, and reliability across layers
Establish lineage tracking and monitoring using native tools (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor) or third-party platforms
Migrate legacy ETL jobs to modern ELT pipelines using Snowflake, Rivery, and cloud-native services
Introduce CI/CD workflows with Git, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps for version control, automated testing, and deployment
Promote DevOps best practices and modular pipeline architecture
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
7+ years of experience in data engineering, data platform development, or analytics engineering roles
Strong experience working with Snowflake (including security, data modeling, optimization, and task orchestration)
Hands-on use of Rivery for building ingestion, logic rivers, and reverse ETL
Hands-on experience on DBT tool like model building, macros, best practices
Experience integrating data from BlueConic, Ongage, Swoogo, NetSuite, HubSpot, and third-party APIs
Expert knowledge on dimensional data modeling and medallion architecture
Deep knowledge of SQL, DBT, Python, and data modeling best practices for ELT architecture and on Snowflake
Proven experience using AWS (e.g., Glue, Lambda, S3, Athena) and/or Azure (e.g., Data Factory, Synapse, Functions, Data Lake) for building cloud-native pipelines
Strong understanding of data contracts, schema enforcement, and pipeline observability
Familiarity with orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Power Automate), version control (Git), and CI/CD for data
Preferred
Domain experience in healthcare, marketing technology, or event management industries
Exposure to BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker for data validation and delivery
Awareness of regulatory data compliance standards (e.g., PII, GDPR) and data classification practices
