CNC Lathe Machinist/Programmer
AAM - American Axle & Manufacturing is a leading global Tier 1 Automotive and Mobility Supplier. They are seeking a CNC Lathe Machinist/Programmer to set up, program, and operate Mazak CNC Lathes, ensuring quality control and accurate dimensional evaluations of parts and tooling.

Responsibilities
Set up, program, and operate Mazak CNC Lathe producing tooling and prototypes on Mazak lathe; small lot sizes, multiple set ups per day
The right candidate will be experienced in programming- ability to write a hand program without assistance, download and edit programs and troubleshoot when needed
Ability to guide Blueprint Reading and GD&T
Have knowledge of multiple types of controls
Take ownership of quality control and gauging ability- ability hold a tolerance of +/- .0001
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma
Set up, program, and operate Mazak CNC Lathe producing tooling and prototypes on Mazak lathe; small lot sizes, multiple set ups per day
Experienced in programming- ability to write a hand program without assistance, download and edit programs and troubleshoot when needed
