The Financial Project Manager will oversee and support projects with a strong emphasis on budget oversight, fiscal monitoring, and grants administration.

Responsibilities
Track and monitor contract budgets and expenditures, including preparing financial reports and supporting administrative documentation
Develop, maintain, and update project timelines; monitor progress and implement adjustments to meet deadlines
Provide oversight on the effective use of project and program resources, including personnel, budget, and equipment
Identify potential project risks and support mitigation strategies to ensure projects remain on track and within scope
Address and resolve issues throughout the project lifecycle using proactive problem-solving approaches
Collaborate with leadership and staff to identify and implement strategies to improve grants administration processes
Support grants oversight to ensure implementation aligns with operational and financial objectives
Assist with invoicing, accounting, reporting, and other administrative functions as needed
Monitor and manage paperwork and documentation related to grant-funded programs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Project Management, Business, Engineering, Public Health, Emergency Response, or related discipline)
Strong project management and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills (macros preferred)
Strong analytical, financial tracking, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, standards, or procedures
High level of initiative, time management, and continuous process improvement mindset
Preferred
Master's degree in a relevant field
Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent); certification may be obtained while in the role
Prior experience supporting public-sector, healthcare, or public health initiatives
