Responsibilities
Work closely with the Controls Engineering group on projects to support our production facilities
Utilize Rockwell Software to design, upgrade or convert existing Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Human-Machine Interface (HMI) programs
Participate in the design, construction, testing, implementation, and documentation portions of basic industrial control and/or information systems that meet requirements and team standards
Assist in field operations including requirement definition, field survey, installation, checkout, commissioning and standby support
Spend time learning technical skills; including computer aided drafting, hardware and software design techniques, software development and testing techniques, and system installation
Qualification
Required
Actively pursuing Bachelors or technical degree program with concentration in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Technology
Strong MS Excel and PC configuration skills
Strong PLC and HMI skills
Ability, willingness, and desire to work in a hands-on, industrial environment
Ability and willingness to travel is required
Ability and willingness to work outside in extreme weather conditions in an industrial environment
Ability to build relationships, collaborate and work efficiently with team members
Reliable transportation
