Responsibilities
Lead and facilitate project meetings, coordinate with clients and agencies, and manage internal teams to ensure project success
Assign work, provide technical guidance, and support the professional development of engineers and designers
Direct and review designs for railroad and transit facilities, including alignments, profiles, grading, and drainage
Oversee and review the preparation of construction drawings, specifications, and PS&E packages
Lead complex grading, drainage, and utility designs, ensuring constructability and compliance with standards
Review and guide advanced hydrologic and hydraulic analyses
Interface with jurisdictional agencies to support permitting and approvals
Review and contribute to design memoranda, reports, and technical studies
Collaborate with clients and subconsultants and support projects through planning, design, and construction phases
Qualification
Required
Active California PE license required
10+ years of progressive experience in civil transportation design, construction, and/or project management on U.S.-based projects
Proven ability to lead project teams, mentor junior engineers, and manage technical deliverables
Expertise in Bentley OpenRoads and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D
Strong command of civil engineering standards, design criteria, and QA/QC practices
Disciplined and self-motivated to succeed
