Responsibilities
Manage multifamily and affordable housing projects through all phases: programming, schematic design, design development, construction documents, bidding, and construction administration
Serve as the primary client contact, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle
Lead and mentor a small team of junior architects and designers, providing direction, coordination, and quality oversight
Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery
Oversee production of drawings and technical documentation, ensuring compliance with building codes and quality standards
Facilitate design reviews, team meetings, and client presentations
Support business development efforts, including proposal preparation and participation in client meetings as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
[8–12+] years of professional architectural experience, with a strong focus on multifamily and/or affordable housing projects
Licensed Architect preferred (or on path to licensure)
Proven experience managing projects and leading small teams
Strong knowledge of building codes, construction processes, and project delivery methods
Proficiency in Revit and standard design/production software
Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
