The Accounting Clerk is an entry level position designed for individuals who are detail oriented and eager to build a long term career in accounting, providing hands-on exposure to accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and core corporate accounting functions.

Responsibilities
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
Accurately enter invoices, payments, and journal data into accounting systems
Support bank, credit card, and POS reconciliations
Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation
Assist with month end close activities as assigned
Communicate professionally with vendors and internal departments
Assist the Accounting Manager and Senior Accountants with special projects
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
Support process improvement and documentation efforts
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
02 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or office experience
Basic understanding of accounting principles
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast paced corporate environment
Professional communication and time management skills
Preferred
Associate's or Bachelor's degree coursework in Accounting, Finance, or Business
Experience with accounting software (Sage, Sage 50, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)
Experience in a multi unit, restaurant, or retail environment
Interest in long term career growth in accounting
