Responsibilities

May deal with sensitive and personal identifiable information
Provide specialized and/or technical program-specific information that requires limited interpretation of established policies, procedures and other relevant sources to internal and external customers over the telephone, in writing and in person
Fleet administration, to include completing required documentation and reporting of driver and fleet vehicle data
Utilize financial management tools to complete supplier setup and related changes
Manage purchasing requests, including contract purchase agreements and related changes

Required

Any equivalent combination of experience and education that provides the applicant with the desired skills, knowledge, and ability required to perform the work
Provide excellent customer service skills – in person and via telephone (discretion, patience, etiquette, and professionalism)
Experience with procurement and payables processes
Experience collecting, verifying, and analyzing large amounts of data
Communicates effectively with others, both orally and in writing. Including communicating in a non-judgmental, respectful, and culturally sensitive manner
Work independently and in an organized manner
Prioritizes and completes multiple tasks simultaneously
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing and following up with many activities, and assertively seeks to solve organizational problems and help others
Provides excellent feedback and follow-up to colleagues on work-related activities
Maintains confidentiality on sensitive matters. Manages sensitive interpersonal interactions with discretion and diplomacy
Understands and can apply basic accounting and mathematics skills
Work with King County Oracle Financial and Procurement System or similar financial and procurement systems
Proficient in using Microsoft Office 365 products, including Word, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint

Preferred

Experience with a record of being a reliable employee
