Catalyst Internship, Nursing - Summer 2026
National Children's Center (NCC) is a distinguished nonprofit organization providing vital services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Nursing Intern will gain experience in community-based health services, compliance processes, and shadowing nurses in case management while supporting projects that improve health record systems.

Responsibilities
Apply creativity and technology to improve a program, assess existing workflows, or design content
Attend a speaker series featuring professionals and thought leaders from diverse industries
Engage in service-learning projects and give back to the community
Build relationships with a career mentor and grow professional networks
Contribute to a group capstone that directly impact the lives of individuals with disabilities and their families
Develop skills relating to essential business departments such as operations, innovation, nursing, development/fundraising, and program management
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing an associate, bachelors, masters, doctoral degree or a recent graduate
Commitment to a full 10-week internship duration
Ability to work in-person in Silver Spring, MD
Must live in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia area for the duration of the internship
You are required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination prior to your first day of employment
