Responsibilities
Lead a team of individual contributors, providing career development support and ensuring the team meets organizational goals
Track and monitor critical paths and budget across multiple ongoing construction projects
Review and approve scope change order requests and schedule re-baselines, and review cost and schedule forecasts for accuracy
Identify potential risks to personnel, production, or finance throughout all phases of project delivery
Perform regular site walks to verify that the schedules reported by contractors match actual field progress
Present project status and team performance metrics to department and executive management
Qualification
Required
Minimum 6 years of direct construction project controls experience in an industrial setting
4-year degree from an accredited university (Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Administration)
Professional-level knowledge of Primavera P6 for managing CPM schedules
Ability to read and interpret design plans, shop drawings, and technical specifications
Strong written and verbal skills, with the ability to explain technical content to stakeholders at various levels
Preferred
PMP or AACE certifications are preferred
