They are seeking a Customer Service Accountant to perform a variety of administrative duties and customer service functions in a busy agricultural retail environment, including invoicing, customer account management, and inventory reconciliation.
Farming
Responsibilities
Prepare, reconcile, and post invoices for energy products and services
Monitor customer accounts, apply payments, and assist with collection of payment
Reconcile inventory and sales margins monthly to ensure product and cost accuracy
Assist with imports from c-stores, and deposits
Track inventories; reconcile physical counts with system balances
Verify product transfers, returns, and adjustments between locations
Work closely with operations to ensure product usage is properly documented
Generate customer invoices promptly, ensuring accuracy of quantities, and fees
Support energy sales and operations with billing questions, corrections, and product pricing
Respond to customer inquiries about account balances, statements, and billing discrepancies
Assist customers in placing fuel and propane orders and service work
Backup for front desk, assist accounting department as needed
Work closely with controller, and accounting department
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Valid driver's license with approved company driving record
Good computer skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages including Excel and Word
Be a team player
Good people and communication skills
