Responsibilities
Support Security Systems Engineering efforts on IRAD initiatives by developing network security architecture, selecting new technologies, and conducting research on advanced security topics
Develop, maintain, and publish technical documentation and white papers in alignment with Systems Engineering standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate degree with 2 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, 8 or more years of directly related experience will be considered
At least 4 years of hands-on experience in Network and Platform Security
Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in Cloud Security (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, etc.)
Strong knowledge of cloud security principles
Solid understanding of Zero Trust principles with some hands-on implementation experience
Preferred
A strong background in cloud environments is strongly preferred
In-depth experience with networking technologies
Experience configuring and supporting enterprise networks and associated devices
Familiarity with applying NIST and FISMA controls tailored to specific customer requirements
Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or related credentials
