NOC Engineer II

Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain operational, performance and integrity of enterprise Infrastructure
Administration of all NOC owned tools/applications including scripting, customizations, report building, alert modifications, automations and maintenance
Process documentation (KB)
User/system impacted incident management and resolutions, including working with multiple IT groups, Incident Managers, open business communications and reporting to IT Senior Leadership
Minimize risk and exposure to system security and business interruption on company's infrastructure
Mentoring/Training

Cordially and professionally interact with customers, vendors, superiors and peers
Regular attendance on a full-time schedule of at least 8 hours and 40 hours per week
Have good communication skills (including public speaking, critical business writing skills, process documentation and knowledge base article composure)

Qualification
Required
BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent combination of education or work experience
2-5 years of Network Operations Center (NOC) experience, applications, and related technologies

Incident Management Communication tools
EverBridge
Other monitoring tools (e.g. Nagios, ScienceLogic, OpsView, BMC Helix, etc.)
Other Log Monitoring tools
F5 and load balancers
Firewall/router/networking equipment
Enterprise level process and escalations
Some Scripting/coding in Python, Java, Perl, C, BASH, Shell
ITIL Foundations certifications (V3 or V4)
Familiarity with Data Center Firelife systems, CRAC/HAVC units, UPS', and Data Center Generators
Good communication skills (including public speaking, critical business writing skills, process documentation and knowledge base article composure)
Regular attendance on a full-time schedule of at least 8 hours and 40 hours per week
