Responsibilities
Install, calibrate, and maintain semiconductor PVD and vacuum equipment in customer facilities
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and robotics issues; implement effective solutions
Perform preventive maintenance on multi-chamber cluster systems and robotics
Collect diagnostic data and communicate findings with headquarters in Japan
Document service activities, maintain software revision history, and recommend spare parts
Provide training and technical support to customers and team members
Ensure compliance with customer protocols and cleanroom standards
Qualification
Required
HS Diploma or GED required; AA/BS in Engineering or related field preferred
1-2+ years of field service experience in semiconductor equipment, PVD, or vacuum systems
Hands-on experience with multi-chamber cluster systems, robotics, and cleanroom equipment
Ability to read and interpret electrical/mechanical schematics; PLC/software experience a plus
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to work independently after training
Valid driver's license; ability to lift ~50 lbs and travel as required
Preferred
AA/BS in Engineering or related field preferred
Bilingual (Japanese/English) helpful but not required
