The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and improving equipment performance and troubleshooting complex equipment problems.

Responsibilities
Owner/Subject Matter Expert for assigned Diffusion equipment
Monitor and improve equipment performance. i.e. availability, throughput, line yield, and cost of ownership
Generate and update tool Maintenance specifications as needed
Assist and train (hands-on) technicians as needed
Troubleshoot and diagnose complex equipment problems; define and implement solutions
Design, test, and implement equipment improvements and modifications
Identify and evaluate second source parts suppliers; address parts obsolescence issues
Assist with equipment purchases, installations, relocations, and qualification
Qualification
Required
BS or equivalent in appropriate Engineering discipline
5 or more years of Semiconductor experience in Equipment Engineering, Diffusion background required
Excellent mechanical and electronic skills
Strong problem-solving capabilities
Preferred
Past experience supporting the following Diffusion equipment: Thermco TMX 9000/10000, SVG VTR 6000/7000
Previous experience as an OEM Field Service Engineer a plus
