Assistant Director of Program

Responsibilities
Co-lead the Dorm NYC location’s clinical program alongside the Clinical Director, ensuring high quality care, consistent programming, and an excellent client and family experience
Own the administrative and operational backbone of the program by setting clear workflows and clinical standards across documentation, compliance, scheduling, and systems, while partnering with senior leadership to support program growth and alignment with billing expectations
Lead and develop a multidisciplinary clinical team through supervision, coaching, and oversight of key program leaders across wellness, executive functioning, and community-based programming
Partner with Operations and Compliance to run a smooth, audit-ready program including documentation standards, KIPU workflows, scheduling infrastructure, and overall operational accuracy
Build strong team infrastructure through onboarding, training, and ongoing professional development while strengthening culture, engagement, and accountability across the site
Collaborate with Admissions and Outreach and other partners to support a strong referral pipeline, seamless client and family onboarding, and effective coordination with outside providers
Partner with Research to support outcomes measurement workflows and a data-informed approach to clinical quality and client progress
Maintain a direct clinical caseload including individual, group, and family therapy (approximately 10 to 12 hours weekly) and contribute to interdisciplinary treatment planning
Support budget related responsibilities in partnership with leadership including monitoring program needs and financial health
Participate in the on call rotation and support evening programming on a rotating basis
Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support program operations and leadership priorities
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related program in Psychology
State licensure in Social Work or Counseling is required
At least 8 years of related experience in a clinical setting with adolescents or young adults
At least 3 years of clinical supervisory and leadership experience
Strong business acumen with the ability to manage budgets, organizational planning, staff management, and strategic development
