Inspector

Responsibilities
Inspect and approve materials by confirming specifications and performing visual and basic dimensional tests using calibrated tools
Review paperwork and documentation for completeness and accuracy
Utilize microscopes for basic piece part inspections
Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; input data into the quality database
Scan and archive completed quality paperwork in SharePoint
Support AS9100-compliant QMS through adherence to established procedures
Communicate inspection findings and issues to senior inspectors, engineers, and supervisors
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED equivalent
0–2 years of experience in quality inspection (electronics or machining industry preferred)
Basic knowledge of measuring instruments (calipers, gauges, micrometers)
Ability to read and follow technical drawings and work instructions
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Candidates are required to provide proof of either US citizenship, Permanent US residency or classification as a protected individual as defined in 8 USC 1324b (a) (3)
Preferred
0–2 years of experience in quality inspection (electronics or machining industry preferred)
