The Lead Data Engineer will own and shape data engineering within a large enterprise environment, leading improvements to data architecture and building robust data pipelines and models.

Responsibilities

Lead improvements to data architecture across Snowflake, dbt and Tableau

Review an existing dbt setup (no in-house dbt expertise today) and introduce scalable engineering best practices

Design and build robust data pipelines and models, turning raw data into clean facts/dimensions and production-ready analytics layers

Partner directly with business and technical stakeholders to influence how data platforms and models are designed and consumed

Work hands-on with SQL / Python while also operating at an architectural level

Act as the go-to data engineering lead, helping define what 'good' looks like across ingestion, modeling, and analytics enablement

Required

Experience in data architecture improvements across Snowflake, dbt, and Tableau

Ability to partner directly with business and technical stakeholders
