Responsibilities

Successful candidates will teach 1 to 3 courses for the BSA (Bachelor of Science in Accounting), MAC (Masters of Accounting) and/or MBA (Masters of Business Administration). Teaching is in one of the following areas: accounting information systems, auditing, business/data analytics, business law, financial accounting, intermediate accounting, managerial accounting, taxation, and not for profit/government accounting

Master's degreeProfessional certificationTeaching experienceOnline course developmentCommitment to student successTeach multiple areas

Required

Requires a master's degree and professional or teaching experience related to the teaching assignment that is significant in duration (e.g., 5 years) and responsibility level, and current at the hire date
If an applicant does not have a master's degree, must have a bachelor's degree in a field related to the teaching assignment and the depth, duration, sophistication, and complexity of the professional or teaching experience must outweigh the lack of master's degree qualification
A commitment to the success of students and programs at the University
If an applicant does not have a master's degree, must have professional certification related to the field

Preferred

Relevant professional certification (CPA for example) and experience teaching at the college, university or community college level
The ability to teach in more than one area
Experience teaching and developing online courses
