Program Engineer

Volt is a leading provider of instrument, avionics, and aircraft power solutions, and they are seeking a Program Engineer to join their team in Wichita, KS. The Program Engineer will lead the technical interface between sales and design engineers, focusing on new product development and aftermarket support for aviation products.

Responsibilities

Lead the technical interface between sales account managers and design engineers to secure programs and provide aftermarket support to customers
Programs include new product development and existing product qualification and certification efforts for aviation products such as cockpit avionics, power conversion equipment, and battery systems
To be successful in this role, you will need to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external customers

Qualification

Program/project managementElectrical products knowledgeElectromechanical products knowledgeBachelor's in EngineeringMicrosoft Office

Required

Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Mechanical or related engineering field
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a related aviation field
Strong program/project management skills
An understanding of, or experience with electrical and electromechanical products
You are proficient with Microsoft Office
