Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end architecture, design, implementation, support, and evaluation of technology-focused tools and services
Provide leadership and innovation in designing and implementing services that enable new products, leveraging your deep technical expertise
Evaluate complex business and technical requirements, communicating inherent risks and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders using strong business acumen
Serve as the primary point of contact for project deliverables, managing expectations, priorities, technologies, and technical decisions across cross-functional teams
Establish consistent project management processes, standards, and guidelines across program-wide initiatives
Hire, develop, and manage high-performing engineering teams effectively with a results-oriented mindset
Thrive in high-ambiguity environments, balancing technical and business priorities while driving customer impact at scale
Collaborate with diverse stakeholders—software engineers, product teams, business partners, and marketing—to deliver complex, high-quality, scalable products deployed worldwide
Architect robust systems, optimize performance, and ensure seamless integration across multiple platforms
Tackle complex challenges that meet the evolving needs of our global user base
Qualification
Required
3+ years of engineering team management experience
7+ years of working directly within engineering teams experience
3+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
Experience partnering with product or program management teams
Preferred
Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers
