Responsibilities
Guide a team of designers across interaction, visual, and service design disciplines
Champion best practices in design systems, tools, and frameworks to deliver high-quality concepts, prototypes, and end-to-end user experiences
Create an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing design culture
Set clear goals, mentor team members, and empower them to grow their craft and influence business outcomes
Partner with product, technology, and business leaders to define long-term product direction
Ensure design decisions are rooted in user insights, business needs, and data-driven strategy
Advocate for design thinking principles that balance customer needs with business priorities, using research, data, and creative exploration to shape meaningful experiences
Leverage a strong understanding of industry trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscapes to help refine design strategies and adjust priorities as needed
Apply technical awareness and emerging technology trends to craft forward-thinking design strategies and enable faster, smarter decision-making across teams
Build trusted partnerships across disciplines, facilitating alignment and momentum to achieve impactful results
Communicate design strategy and outcomes clearly across audiences, connecting research insights, frameworks, and business value to inspire action and alignment
Qualification
Required
At least 5 years of experience in a Product Design role
At least 5 years of experience in design and prototyping tools such as Figma
Preferred
At least 6 years of experience in a Product Design role
At least 6 years of experience in design and prototyping tools such as Figma
Experience working with and contributing to an established design system
Experience collaborating with product, tech and business partners
Experience leading design projects or teams
Experience working in heavily regulated, data heavy problem spaces
