Engineering Program Manager - ASE / iCloud Platform
Apple is seeking an experienced Software engineering program manager for the Apple Services Engineering (ASE) | iCloud Platform organization. You will partner with teams and vendors to build, maintain, and improve the platform and product layer of Apple’s critical cloud services.

Responsibilities
Drive and ship large, multi-functional programs and features for iCloud Platform
Lead all aspects of multiple concurrent features including scope, priorties, requirements, timelines, and resource allocation
Manage concise status and program operations
Advise and carry out risk assessment and mitigation plans as needed
Drive maturity programs with cross-functional organizations and teams while continuously working to improve the software development lifecycle process within the org
Foster collaboration across a broad team of XF partners to formulate roadmap and manage intake of new feature asks. Help set the strategy and communicate status and issues to stakeholders at all levels
Bring clarity by creating plans, driving the team to execute on those plans, setting goals and expectations, and removing roadblocks
Influence and build relationships with team members in all functional areas and levels of the organization—engineering, business, product, legal, marketing, design, and leadership
Participate and facilitate teams working through technical challenges and decisions. Remain curious to understand and be able to represent the overall system design independently
Establish and document known risks, dependencies, and other information central to the project as required
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in program / project management successfully leading highly cross-functional software development as part of the SDLC
Bachelor's/Master's Degree or equivalent work experience in project management or Cloud, AI engineering
Have personally orchestrated the delivery of multiple significant client/server software products, under demanding timelines, managing multiple work streams cross functionally across a large organization
Collaborative engagement and technical empathy for engineers
Sound technical foundation and a highly motivated self-starter
Experience as a project lead, able to focus and simplify, balancing the details with goals, priorities, and trade-offs in mind
Consistent record in defining processes, key metrics and executing on them
Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire team members
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience with strong presentation skills both in person and in multi-location meetings
Able to think critically and creatively, identify risks and drive the execution across multiple teams to remediate them
Preferred
Experience working in Cloud Platform related software delivery
Strong technical proficiency: Client/server product development and bonus points for past programming experience
Experience leading large, complex programs; from requirements gathering, collaboration with teams, through software development and release qualification while maintaining a high bar for quality
Experience managing cross-org dependencies across multiple engineering teams
