SEGULA Technologies is seeking a Cost Engineering Analyst to support internal combustion engine propulsion programs through detailed manufacturing cost analysis of automotive components. This role focuses on activity-based costing, supplier quote evaluation, and Design-to-Cost initiatives across engine and driveline components.

Responsibilities

Develop technical variable and tooling cost estimates using activity-based costing methodologies

Analyse Bills of Materials (BOMs), engineering drawings, specifications, and samples to determine piece cost and tooling investment

Review and challenge supplier quotes, including EDD, to align on accurate cost assumptions

Support Design-to-Cost initiatives and benchmarking activities

Build and maintain detailed cost models reflecting manufacturing processes, tooling strategies, and production assumptions

Provide cost subject matter expertise to engineering, purchasing, and leadership teams

Manage multiple programs while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

Required

Experience in activity-based costing methodologies

Ability to analyze Bills of Materials (BOMs), engineering drawings, specifications, and samples

Ability to build and maintain detailed cost models

Experience providing cost subject matter expertise to engineering, purchasing, and leadership teams

Ability to manage multiple programs while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
