Responsibilities
Connect to and integrate diverse data sources (APIs, databases)
Design and maintain databases and data models
Build, automate, and optimize ETL pipelines
Perform data cleansing, validation, and quality remediation
Write complex SQL queries for analysis and reporting
Perform statistical analysis and exploratory data analysis
Develop predictive models and apply machine learning where appropriate
Identify insights beyond standard reporting
Design and build dashboards and reports (Power BI preferred)
Integrate data into user friendly applications and APIs
Enable self service analytics for business users
Translate complex technical findings into clear, actionable business insights
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and validate solutions
Support data driven decision making across the organization
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Analytics or a related field
5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst and/or Data Engineer
Strong experience building dashboards and reports in Power BI (Tableau a plus)
Proven ability to gather requirements, test solutions, and work with stakeholders
Strong analytical skills with experience translating data into business conclusions
Experience creating process and technical documentation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
SQL Server or Oracle experience
Strong knowledge of CTEs, window functions, set operations, aggregations, and REGEXP or similar
Ability to read execution plans and optimize query performance
Data profiling and data quality remediation
Understanding of master data management concepts
Familiarity with data lineage and documentation best practices
Python 3.8+ (REST APIs, OAuth2, API keys, JWT authentication)
Preferred
Snowflake experience preferred (Streams, Tasks, Dynamic Tables, or similar)
JavaScript is a plus but not required (React or Angular)
SuiteScript 2.x is a plus but not required
