Paralegal Specialist
Air Force Civilian Service is part of the legal team at Joint Base San Antonio–Lackland, supporting the mission that protects the nation’s cyberspace. The Paralegal Specialist will conduct legal research, analyze administrative and labor law issues, and support attorneys in advising Wing leadership on various legal matters.

Qualification
Required
U.S. Citizenship
Ability to obtain and maintain Special‑Sensitive clearance eligibility (SCI/SAP)
Successful completion of a Tier 5 / High Tier background investigation
Position is subject to drug testing (Testing Designated Position)
Occasional travel via military or commercial aircraft may be required
Knowledge of federal and state law, military administrative law, legal procedures, and standards of conduct
Knowledge of legal terminology, research techniques, and legal office operations
Skill in interviewing, fact‑finding, identifying discrepancies, and evaluating information
Skill in analyzing legal issues, interpreting regulations, and preparing legal documents
Ability to articulate complex ideas clearly in writing and verbally
Advanced proficiency with word processing, presentation tools, and file management systems
Ability to troubleshoot hardware/software issues and support local network connectivity
