Responsibilities
Oversee the entire lifecycle of integration projects, from discovery and requirements gathering to testing, implementation, and post-deployment support
Serve as the subject matter expert for Workday integrations, staying current with Workday updates and industry best practices
Work closely with HR, IT, Finance, and other business units to understand their needs and translate them into technical integration solutions
Monitor integration issues/errors and ensure data accuracy
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and escalate as appropriate
Maintain data governance processes and standards to ensure data accuracy, consistency, quality, and security within the Workday Finance platform
Understand and ensure State security and data privacy standards are followed
Drive the development of integration strategy, best practices, and the overall Workday integration roadmap to support organizational goals
Qualification
Required
Oversee the entire lifecycle of integration projects, from discovery and requirements gathering to testing, implementation, and post-deployment support
Serve as the subject matter expert for Workday integrations, staying current with Workday updates and industry best practices
Work closely with HR, IT, Finance, and other business units to understand their needs and translate them into technical integration solutions

Understand and ensure State security and data privacy standards are followed
Advanced knowledge of Role-based and User-Based Security and Domains, as it applies to Integrations security
Drive the development of integration strategy, best practices, and the overall Workday integration roadmap to support organizational goals
Proficiency with Workday EIBs, Core Connectors, and web services (REST/SOAP)
Familiarity with Workday Studio
Strong knowledge of XML, XSLT, JSON, and potentially Python or JavaScript for custom integrations
Deep understanding of Finance, HCM, and Payroll processes and how they integrate with Workday and other systems
Experience gathering, developing, and validating development against business requirements to ensure it meets the business needs
Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with various technical and functional stakeholders
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required
3-5 years of Workday experience required
