Sales & Operations Planning Intern

Responsibilities
Collect and analyze demand, supply, and forecast data to support monthly S&OP activities
Manage and organize data from ERP/MRP and planning systems to ensure accuracy and consistency
Develop clear, easy‑to‑understand reports that communicate key insights to leadership
Coordinate with Supply Chain, Program Management, Growth, Finance, and Operations to help resolve data or forecast discrepancies
Prepare written summaries, presentations, charts, and KPI updates for S&OP meetings
Monitor forecast accuracy and help identify drivers behind changes or variances
Support process‑improvement efforts that enhance reporting, data quality, and planning efficiency
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a bachelor's in supply chain management, industrial engineering, or a closely related field
A minimum GPA of 3.1 is required. You will be asked to submit your transcripts
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and basic formulas
Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) or experience working with ERP/MRP systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present information to various audiences, including leadership
Demonstrated teamwork, collaboration, and problem‑solving abilities
This position requires you to be able to obtain a government security clearance. Security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens
Preferred
1 year of relevant experience, which may include coursework, class projects, internships, or part‑time roles involving data, planning, or process analysis
Experience using SQL or Python for data analysis
Exposure to ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP
Previous internship or project work related to supply chain planning, forecasting, or process improvement
Understanding of supply chain metrics such as forecast accuracy, on‑time delivery, or inventory health
Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑moving environment
