Development Intern

Camp Twin Lakes (CTL) has been providing life-changing camp experiences for children with serious illnesses and disabilities for over 30 years. They are seeking a Development Intern to assist with fundraising, marketing, and event planning, while gaining hands-on experience in coordinating signature events and drafting grant applications.

Responsibilities

Assist the Events Team in coordinating and executing three of our signature events (Radiothon, Spin for Kids, and Partners Card) as well as other external events
Grow in the areas of communication, marketing, and logistical coordination
Learn how to draft and submit grant funding applications and reports under the guidance of our Director of Grants & Outcomes Measurement
Engage foundation donors and fund scholarships for our campers

Required

Ability to work part-time averaging 30 hours per week
Willingness to start in May 2024 and continue through November 2024
Interest in fundraising, marketing, and event planning for a nonprofit organization
Strong written communication skills
Ability to assist in coordinating and executing events
Eagerness to learn about drafting and submitting grant funding applications and reports
