Responsibilities
Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade security measures to protect DRC data, systems, and networks
Respond to all system and network security breaches with urgency and precision
Evaluate organizational security needs and establish best practices, standards, and policies
Take proactive security measures to ensure the safety of DRC’s infrastructure and data
Perform scheduled and ad‑hoc vulnerability scans across networks, servers, and endpoints
Analyze scan results, validate findings, and prioritize remediation based on risk, severity, and exploitability
Conduct testing and scanning to identify vulnerabilities in systems and networks
Tune scanning configurations to reduce false positives and improve data accuracy
Develop and maintain vulnerability metrics, dashboards, and executive‑level reporting
Partner with IT and application teams to coordinate remediation activities and verify implemented fixes
Document remediation steps and support patch management processes
Provide guidance and expertise to technical teams on vulnerability mitigation strategies
Qualification
Required
MUST LIVE IN OHIO
12 years of experience with network security and threat detection
12 years of experience in incident response and vulnerability management
12 years of experience administering Qualys
12 years of experience with remediation documentation and patch management processes
4‑year college degree (highly desired)
CISSP certification (highly desired)
