Mid LevelPatton Labs Inc is seeking a Wi-Fi Embedded Developer to design, develop, and test Wi-Fi software features for Comcast Wi-Fi gateway/extender products. The role requires strong knowledge of IEEE802.11 protocols and hands-on experience with C/C++ programming in a Linux environment.

Responsibilities
Work on design and implementation of RDKB features, bug fixes and troubleshooting
Coordinating with offshore team members
Presenting weekly status reports to stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Strong understanding of IEEE802.11 protocol
Design, develop and testing of Wi-Fi software feature for Comcast Wi-Fi gateway/extender product
Experience and knowledge on IEEE802.11/Wi-Fi protocols such as WPA, RADIUS, WPS, 802.11n/ac/ax
Work with vendors to integrate Wi-Fi chipset solutions
Provide technical assistance to other teams to trouble shoot customer Wi-Fi issues
Work on development of new Wi-Fi features on RDKB platform
Hands-on experience on C/C++ programming
Strong knowledge of Linux Operating systems
Hands-on experience working in Linux environment
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP internals and common network protocols such as DHCP, DNS, HTTP
Strong problem-solving skills
Knowledge of Source version control tools like git, GitHub etc
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
