The Resource Development Intern will support the Resource Development and Management team in raising funding for VisionFund’s strategic vision, focusing on grant writing, funding research, and data collection to help serve 800,000 World Vision Savings Group members by 2030.

Responsibilities
Carry out research to underpin grant proposals, help with the writing and proofreading in the development of Institutional grant funding proposals with experienced grants writing professionals
Carry out desk research and mapping on potential new institutional funders for VisionFund
Provide significant assistance in reporting on the FAST (Finance Accelerating Savings Group Transformation) program, which is a critical component of the World Vision International THRIVE 2030 Business Plan
Play a key role in helping the program meet its goal of serving 800,000 World Vision Savings Group members by 2030
Support efforts to deliver customized FAST reports for World Vision donors, including GSI mapping and impact stories
Work closely with field teams and global center staff to ensure seamless communication and accurate report creation
If you are unfamiliar with GIS (Geographic Information Systems), we will provide training so you can effectively contribute to mapping and data analysis efforts
Get technical training on the FAST product to ensure you feel confident and well-equipped to support the program's objectives

Required
Strong Writing Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively through written reports, presentations, and donor communications
Eagerness to Learn: A willingness and ability to quickly learn new skills, tools, and technologies, including GIS and the FAST product
Curiosity: A genuine interest in exploring new ideas, problem-solving, and understanding how your work impacts the broader mission
Cross-Cultural Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders across different cultures, time zones, and geographic locations
Responsibility and Enthusiasm: You are responsible, responsive, and enthusiastic about using your God-given talents to positively influence the world
Commitment to our Mission: You have a demonstrated commitment to and alignment with the goals, mission, and vision of World Vision, embodying its values in all aspects of your work
At least 18 years of age
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (e.g., U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or F-1 student visa holder with valid work authorization) and possess a valid U.S. Social Security Number
Able to commit to at least 24 hours per week for the entire internship period: 1 June – 28 August 2026
Current student or recent graduate from an undergraduate/graduate programme (within 2 years)
Adhere to World Vision International's Christian Statement of Faith
Willingness to use own electronic devices for internship purposes, and disposition to let WVI install endpoint security software in those devices
Preferred
Appropriate Fields of Study/Majors: International development, monitoring & evaluation, data collection and management, English, communications, economics, marketing, public policy, finance, nonprofit management, or related fields
