Strategic Studies Research Engineering Scientist Associate IV

Responsibilities

Coordinate with campus research staff and sponsors on project activities
Research policy, authorities, technology, cyber-security, and operational topics relevant to ARL projects
Plan and coordinate complex project meetings, summits, and test events
Develop project documentation, briefs, and proposals
Assist technical staff with test activities and experiments
Other related functions as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Six years of related experience
Demonstrating knowledge or experience in topics related to policy, legal, intelligence, cyber security, technology, and strategic topics relevant to military applications
Demonstrated strong leadership and organizational skills with strong initiative
Strong writing and presentation skills
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate
US Citizen
Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information at the level appropriate to the project requirements of the position

Preferred

Masters' degree in a related field
More than 6 years of related experience
Military knowledge or experience
Eligibility for immediate access to classified information
Fellowship experience with a varied set of academic centers related to national security and policy
Strong initiative through entrepreneurial and/or academic endeavors
Demonstrated experience researching technical and non-technical topics relevant to ARL projects
