Responsibilities
Ensure all engineering and maintenance activities maintain full compliance with Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality (SHEQ) standards
Maintain strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Data Integrity (DI) standards for all documented and operational procedures
Proactively identify and implement corrective or improvement actions to enhance safety, reduce environmental risks, and maintain the highest quality standards
Plan and execute maintenance schedules and activities based on dynamic plant demands and specific equipment requirements
Provide necessary maintenance cover throughout the working day and be available for on-call or out-of-hours work as needed to support critical plant operations
Manage the control, inventory, and timely ordering of spare parts necessary for planned and unplanned maintenance activities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably high-speed converting or continuous process operations
Strong background in industrial electrical systems, motor controls, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and process instrumentation
Proficiency in troubleshooting and programming Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens)
Familiarity with maintaining records and generating reports using a CMMS
Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics, P&IDs, and mechanical drawings
Must be capable of exerting physical effort in movement-type work, including standing, climbing, and performing tasks that involve lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materials
Requires working with regular exposure to common manufacturing conditions, including dirt, dust, noise, odors, wetness, humidity, and occasional temperature extremes
Ability to work on flexible schedules and provide maintenance cover as required for plant demands, including occasional overtime or emergency call-ins
