Responsibilities
Participate in the drive for the safety, sustainability, and environmental compliance for the division and maintaining compliance with all environmental programs (air, water, and waste) including permitting and reporting
Assist with managing of the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, interacting with contractors, conducting environmental projects, tracking on-site waste generation, waste disposal, recycling, and energy use
Actively engage with the plant wide team for solutions to problems and promoting continuous improvement
Be responsible for maintaining compliance with site SPCC plan, perform disposal/recycling facility audits, work with and build relationships with Environmental Regulators, interpret environmental regulations, and willingness to participate in community outreach and education activities
Qualification
Required
Must be enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Engineering/Environmental related field
GPA 2.5 or higher
